PRECAST CONCRETE · STEAM CURING · DIGITAL TRACEABILITY

Control the cure.
Prove the result.

SALVENR turns steam curing from an operator-dependent process into a controlled, visible and traceable production cycle — with live temperatures, repeatable recipes, alarms, history and digital QA records.

THE PRODUCT

A curing controller built around production reality.

SALVENR brings the information an operator needs onto one screen: actual concrete temperature, chamber temperature, target, cure stage, steam state, progress and system health.

02

Dual-probe confidence

Compare independent concrete temperature readings and flag disagreement or sensor failure.

Δ 0.9°C
03

Steam on demand

Issue steam demand from the curing recipe rather than relying on continuous manual adjustment.

STEAM ENABLED
04

Cycle traceability

Keep product, timing, temperatures, alarms and operator actions together as a digital curing record.

05

Fast operator decisions

See immediately whether the cure is healthy, whether steam is on and whether action is required.

06

Expandable architecture

The modular SALVENR architecture allows temperature sensing, steam-control outputs and future process I/O to grow with the installation.

WHY IT MATTERS

Steam curing should not depend on memory and guesswork.

In a busy precast factory, manual steam control can make curing dependent on shift experience, timing and frequent checks. SALVENR gives the operator a defined process and gives QA a record of what actually happened.

WITHOUT SALVENR
  • Manual valve decisions
  • Limited temperature visibility
  • Hard-to-find cure records
  • Operator-to-operator variation

WITH SALVENR
  • Defined curing recipe
  • Live concrete & chamber trends
  • Digital cycle history
  • Clear alarms & system status

WHY I BUILT SALVENR

Built from a problem I kept running into on the factory floor.

I’m a mechanical engineer with a hands-on background in machining, maintenance and production engineering. I’ve spent years working around precast concrete manufacturing, where curing is critical to quality, cycle time and getting product out the door.

One problem kept coming back: the control systems available to us were often either too expensive, difficult for operators to use, locked into rigid industrial HMI platforms, or tied to ongoing software and subscription costs that were hard to justify for a straightforward curing process.

I wanted something different — a controller that an operator could understand in seconds, that could show the information that actually matters, log the full cure, and still be flexible enough to grow with the process.

“SALVENR started because I wanted the kind of curing controller I kept looking for but could never quite find: simple to operate, practical to maintain, and built around what happens in a real precast factory.”

So I started building it myself. SALVENR has grown from a practical factory problem into a complete curing-control concept: temperature monitoring, repeatable recipes, steam control, cycle history, reporting and a platform that can keep developing without forcing the customer into an unnecessary monthly software bill.

FOUNDER & PRODUCT DEVELOPER Robert Salvenmoser Mechanical / Production Engineering · Precast Manufacturing
01 Factory experience first

Designed around the realities of production, maintenance, QA and operator use.

02 Simple by design

The main screen is built to answer the questions an operator actually needs answered during a cure.

03 Keep ownership of the system

Local control and local data remain central to the SALVENR concept, without making basic operation dependent on a cloud service.

04 Built to keep improving

From simple relay steam control through to reporting, match curing and advanced process control.

USE CASES

One control concept. Multiple precast processes.

Configure the cure around the product and production method instead of forcing every product into the same cycle.

01

Jacking & large-diameter pipe

Track concrete temperature through long steam cures and retain a traceable record for each production cycle.

02

Box culverts & heavy precast

Apply controlled ramp rates to reduce thermal shock while maintaining production-focused cure times.

03

Dedicated curing chambers

Give operators a clear chamber status with target, actual temperature, progress and steam demand visible at once.

04

Match curing · Professional

Planned advanced architecture can reproduce the product thermal profile in a separate test-cylinder curing bath.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Industrial I/O without an industrially complicated interface.

The SALVENR touchscreen provides the operator interface and control layer, while dedicated industrial I/O handles temperature sensing, steam control and future process signals.

SALVENR is supplied as a complete engineered control solution. Internal controller architecture and firmware are proprietary.

DIGITAL QA RECORDS

Make the curing cycle part of the product record.

SALVENR is designed to log the temperatures and events that matter so a completed cure can be reviewed later instead of relying on handwritten notes or memory.
